Dissecting a genre - science fiction
The first literary genre that affected me was science fiction. As we can see from the visual a lot of work goes into the construction of this popular genre.
This will spill over into the world of:
- movie production
- television miniseries
- print both traditional and electronic
- audio books
- adaptation to mobile devices
- planning for seasonal releases
- positioning for piggybacking on opportune occurrences (a recent meteor strike) to enhance sales
Fiction is an entertainment as opposed to non fiction enlightenment element in bringing our stories and niches to life.
As we learn more of these processes our ability to craft winning content in our websites will be the better for it!

Good morning Mike. I've always heard that the more we learn about writing, the better we will become.
This weekend I read about genetically modified pigs that are supposed to grow into low fat animals that will provide low fat bacon. Of course there are people that like the idea of stuff that tastes like meat being created in labs instead of eating the real thing.
I feel that science fiction and reality are on the verge of become today's reality. So, if I were to write a science fiction story - this would be my starting point.
A great approach Sondra. Get this. Did you see the last Jurassic Park where the chickens were huge and came clucking and scratching after you for dinner? :))
