Help Is Always Near At Hand Inside WA

Recently I cam across three separate instances of someone in the WA "family" going out of their way to make things easier for everyone who is a member. In this post I want to give them credit. I know many, many others here at WA go out of their way to make learning about websites and affiliate marketing easy for the rest of us. But I can only speak about my personal experience.

First, I saw a request from BobyS82 asking for comments on her post. I read through the copy which was all about making money blogging. In it she, of course, mentions WA. More importantly to me, she talked about how she found a site that helped her build this particular page on her website that was designed expressly for conversions. I followed up through several private messages with her and received an open-ended offer to help me with anything that comes up.

A few days later I got an email that jetrbby80316 posted a training called Move Your Website in 10 Minutes! The easily understood (even for a newbie like me) and detailed instruction with screenshots came about after many hours of research and (although he didn't say it) I assume frustration. The training clearly shows how to move a complete website from one host to another using a free plugin. KAJU (jetrbby80316) has done 10 other WA trainings which I plan to watch very soon.

Earlier today I was frustrated with where and how to insert HTML ad code in a website. I asked the question "What is the best way to add advertising code to a website?" Soon after I received two responses. Each person had a slightly different, but effective, way of "skinning the cat" to use an old figure of speech.

Clear, simple directions from Vickic3 came through within minutes. Almost immediately after that, nathaniell (whose blog introduced me to WA) posted a different approach accompanied by Put A Linked Image In Your Sidebar, one of his instructional videos. Again, great information and very clear but not what I was looking for. Although I will be watching his training videos in the near future, too.

The problem wasn't with the Ambassadors who responded to my question. I wasn't as clear as I should have been in my initial query. As I thanked both Vicki and Nathaniell for their suggestions, I noted I wanted a plugin that would do much of the coding and associated work for me.

To my surprise and great delight, MarionBlack saw my question and pointed me to her video entitled Easy Adsense Ads with Ad Inserter Plugin. This was exactly what I had been looking for!

To wrap this up, the lesson learned today is that by asking questions of the super knoweldgeable and generous people here at WA, in less than a week I got help that in some cases I didn't even realize I needed!

If you are new like me, I encourage you to ask a question in the block at the top of your dashboard page. You've all seen it, Need help (first name)? Ask your question here....
