Hi everyone,
I want to ask you this 2 questions.
1. How much time you spent when you pick your first niche?
2. Is this niche you picked successful?
You should be very careful picking your first niche. It could lead you to success if you picked the right niche. Otherwise, it could lead you to failure if you picked the wrong niche.
You don't want to end up in a situation that you wasted a lot of time and then found out you picked the wrong niche. You lost your enthusiasm and you give up.

Therefore, I suggest you to spent more time in picking your first niche. There are few considerations:-
- Are you genuinely interested in this niche?
- Are there enough audience?
- Are there too many competitors?
- How your website can stand out from your competitors?
- Do you have plans to make it work?
The above are just some of the questions that you might want to ask yourself. I am sure you can think of more questions.
When you pick your first niche, don't let money be your first consideration. Ask yourself, how could you build a successful website? When your website is successful and attracts enough visitors, money will come.
I would suggest you spend at least 2~3 days to think over it in every angles possible. The more time you spend, the better it will be. I experienced myself, wasting time and money on websites I built and trashed later on. The time I could spend productively doing something else.
Writing a business plan when you are planning your first website is a valuable exercise. It will serve as a road map and it will keep you on track if you are lost. Often we have ideas but we forgot about it later on. So writing and updating your business plan is vital to your success.
Affiliate marketing is a business. So treat it like a business.
I wish you all good luck.
