I NEED A NEW NICHE!

ugh.
sick of dance.
sick of everything.
sick of not making enough money.
having to resort back to a day job soon.

I was doing so well, then one week away, then building my own website and now i've just sorta lost all motivation.

I did all that training and shouldve thought out a more profitable niche first.

My brain is too scattered. I 'm going back to bed.

Going back to bed can indeed be very helpful at times! :)

However, I would strongly recommend not giving up so quickly!

If your chosen niche really doesn't work for you, you could always choose a different one. That could be one that's totally different from what you are working on at this point or maybe even a really closely related one with just a slightly different grip on the subject.

I have to say though that the site you put up so far looks very professional to me. And you look very passionate about that subject. I would be really surprised if you could not build an informational (and monetizable) site/blog about some elements of your work. Especially with all the public interested in that field.

You should really take Carson's advice here and just fire away with any specific questions and concerns you might have.

Go out.. do something nice to cheer you up (how about some FroYo?).. and then start over with new motivation! :)

Cheers
Peter

Thanks everyone! Yeah i hadn't narrowed it down and was writing about all sorts of things related to dance, how to be a better dancer, how to train, where to train, international studios, etc.... but then I switched to just creating my own website which is now up and running... karenngdance.com - and while i'm starting my own classes teaaching dance around the city and running workshops with international teachers, I just hadn't spent enough time writing articles on here... cos i just couldnt see how I was making money off them -but they are valuable knowledge and it sounds like it takes constant work for about 6 months before anymoney actually comes with traffic.

Everyone hits road bumps like this but it is your ability to get over them and move forward that will make the difference whether you are successful or not. Keep your head up because you have all the tools, training, and support right here at WA.

Let us help you out, because I know that you will find a lot of motivation and awesome help from people here at WA.

What is your niche?
Have you created your website?
How many pages/posts have you made?
Are you getting traffic?
Have you chosen a product to promote yet?

If you ask for help, you'll get it.

Don't let frustration stop you, because everyone feels this way from time to time.

Carson

I have heard it said before that every niche can be profitable. Have you gone after to broad of a market and not narrowed it down to a more targeted audience? Also, I have noticed that you have only been here a couple of months. Give it some time to get going. Have you been writing articles and doing some social to bring traffic to your site?

Also, we all do get down sometimes. The main thing is just keep going and not get discouraged. You can do this.

Best wishes to you!

I get ya Tomorrow is a new day....sleep well and start again, with new vigor. I bet that there is not one person that has not felt the same.

:o)
