How to add sitemap for google index to Wordpress

Hey everyone,

I understand that there was a pretty recent post on the importance of sitemap and how to use it through Wordpress. However, I was having trouble adding sitemap for google index purposes to the website. Many of the posts were outdated and it seemed like things have changed. But ere's a Youtube video that I've found which can be useful to help you connect your page with Google's webmaster tools (to be indexed).
