I was watching Oprah interview Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz, and he said, in the beginning, when he had the opportunity to buy the original Starbucks stores, he had a clear vision, but no money. So he had to raise a LOT of money. He was rejected over 200 times. Could you imagine... having an idea, believing in that idea, presenting that idea over and over and over, only to be told it was not a promising venture every single time? Sure, now it's easy to say it was worth it, but just imagine the tenacity it took to do his presentation the 203rd time, the 204th time... the time just before it finally stuck.

Sometimes all we have to hold onto is our vision. Success does not come easy and by nature won't be there for us in the rough spots. We have to wrap our heads around the vision alone being enough to sustain us on our journey.
