First Coco Beach Day Sept 2019 for our Little Man

COCO BEACH

This month make one year since I moved from NYC to Orlando Florida. That day in Sept. marks the first time I took Veer to a beach here - Coco Beach in fact. It was decided last minute where I cooked fish sandwiches and we packed waters, soda and juices with chips and apples - in my sister’s little red cooler. I also made a bargain with her that she would drive since she has been here a little more than me and knows the roads. She was excellent back and forth, but next time I am driving. It took me a year to dilute everything I am ready now. The beach is inspirational - the breeze, the natural sand, rocks, shells, serenity ignites one senses. This is uncensored self-care. I loved everything moment, especially every second that my son was feeling the rush and excitement. We had a super drive, but without my friend Abraham telling me where to park at 1500 we would have been nomads. I guess I have a well-wisher and a silent partner in crime and an angel of a friend, The beach was great my boy enjoyed and was so brave with the fierce late afternoon waves, he wanted the challenge. My sister Shelly loved it as much and was so great with Veer. They are becoming so attached as the days goes on. I went into one on the waves and purposely looked for some shells, which I found, seashells and grab them up, since then we dyed them purple and tried to paint them in our garage sessions...
