A question for those marketing WA through the Affiliate Bootcamp

I was just thinking today, I never had review sites before WA, I didn't even know that this was one of the best ways to present content to my audience. When I started the Affiliate bootcamp here at WA, I was generally a good writer but new at writing review posts.

I have improved a lot since I started, and even though I still use the outline given to us in the bootcamp, my posts have more of my individual writing style to them. I know what works for me, and what doesn't, I also have a feel for what works for my audience. Bottomline, I have greatly improved the presentation of my reviews.

Now, if you are following the bootcamp, you already know that one of the very first reviews we write is the WA review (My #1 recommendation).

Come to think of it, I would rather have written this review today, than at the beginning of the training. Simply because it is the post that should convert my website visitors into buyers. I actually do plan to re-write it because it is not that convincing to me, it is too long, it sounds very generic and I could list a many more flaws.

The question I had for you all today, is should the WA review be one of the first posts you write or one that you should write after you have gained some experience writing review posts? This could also apply to individual niche posts - since the training leads us to try to convert guests into buyers.

Let me know your thoughts and have a wonderful Thursday!

I think the more authentic your post the more people will relate to you and buy - just a thought - and you sound very authentic :)

I think we have to start somewhere, anywhere, within our training. A WA review is as good as any other place to start, maybe it is the best place because you do have some experience with that program.
Your reviews of experience with other programs usually closely follow the first.

Very true! I just don't think I can convince myself to join WA with my first post on it. But come to think of it, I wrote it more from the perspective of newbie to the program, which means I incorporated those ideas that convinced me to join. If I re-write it now, I would be writing from a point of one that is truly informed about the program. Thanks for commenting :) -In all essence, I guess both ways work, it depends on the individual.

Great way to come at your review, the most personal is the truest.

Very true!

I have just rewritten my WA review about six months after I first wrote it - you do have a different perspective and far more knowledge at this stage to make the necessary adjustments.

I quite agree Erica. Thanks for commenting, I am trying to re-write mine as we speak. I feel a lot more informed at this point and I truly like the progam. Hope I can demonstrate this in my re-written post!

I kind of felt it was a bit above me at the time however as you say you can go and re do it

Well said. It was way above me, I was just hoping it wasn't another scam for the first few weeks! Lol.

it is hard especially when your not sure if it is all it says it is,, and the thing I do love about here is , they deliver what they state costs are clear no added extra's and no getting hounded to buy other stuff

I agree, especially the "getting hounded to buy" part. I have Affilorama premium as well, which I joined to review but forgot to cancel (you know how that goes); and almost every week, I get invited to a webinar promising to make me $10,000 or more a month. Which of course ends up being a promotion for another product - I'd die if WA did that seriously, it is soooo annoying!

it is and also the one's who get you drawn in but to get to what you need your required to pay more money

I had the same thought - my conclusion.
At the start of Boot Camp you have to review something and you have some experience and views about WA, so this is the ideal subject.

Once at the other end you realise how thin your understanding of WA was and a re- write is totally necessary.

Part of the knowledge absorption process.

Tuesday going well
Keith

Thanks Keith. I feel the same way!
