In the 'muddle'
Hi all you lovelies out there in WA land.
I wanted to share something with you that I am increasingly finding difficult in this modern technological world and maybe a thought process around it.
When I began WA some 4 months ago I really was the quintessential 'newbie' I had been a dentist all my life, yes smart enough maybe, but only in medicine and not in the technical world. I could provide surgery and crowns and fillings but could I save something in a PDF, absolutely not.
We are often only smart or competent in our own fields and moving to the next field has its own learning curves. I think we all feel on the uphill side of the curve in here.
The same is true of the book that i have been working on. It is not just a matter or writing, thats the easy part, there is so much more to learn and to be learnt at a rapid pace.
A friend of mine, the author Bobby Derbyshire said to me recently that when writing a book there is a beginning, a muddle and an end and Oh how I have found that to be true both in the writing process and the editing and proofing world.
I think when we are learning something new like Internet Marketing we have the beginning, its the excitement, the "I can do this" and the "first commision" plus the great interaction with the folks here in WA.
As the weeks and months wear on we can find ourselves in the 'muddle' this grey forlorn area of "What do we do now and "When do i see money and more commonly just "HELP".
I am here to tell you that the solution is determination, tenacity (a word for Mr Dean) while we continue on our trepidous (another one) journey.
As Robbie Bruce watched the spider in his cave so we really must 'try and try again'
Nothing comes easy in this world, believe me, if writing books and being published were easy and fruitful then we would all be authors and we would not be in here.
SO STICK AT IT GUYS, LEARN YOUR NEW SKILLS, APPLY THEM AND IF THEY DON'T WORK THEN TRY AGAIN AND IF THAT DOESN'T WORK THEN TRY AGAIN. If you still are having trouble then read this sentence again.
Success is not a god given right nor is it easy.
