Hi Guys
Ok so im putting out an SOS to the wonderful WA community. Here is my dilema - I know what my niche is but its to broad - Music - that is my passion - I definatly
How about your experiences the ups and downs, what made you choose guitar what other types of instruments you would like to try. How hard it is, how much it costs to get started. Tips and helpful ideas so other people learn from your mistakes.
Hey guys
Just wanted to thank all of you for taking the time to help me out. There are some good avenues here that I can go down with my website. I think I have a clearer picture of how its going to be. Thanks again its very much appreciated
Mike
I like Freedomseekr idea of reviewing learning resources. Loads of people want to play the guitar and adults want to play along to their favourite songs as quick as possible.
Hi Mike,
Since you already play guitar, maybe you could do reviews of different guitars (brands) such as what brand/type of guitar is best for a certain musical style? Or even guitar learning books, dvds, guitar tab books, or maybe reviews of different guitar clinics/lessons. Which ones are the most helpful to actually learn something from? Also, do you want to focus mainly on electric or acoustic? That might narrow it down a little, I hope.
Yea agree, also review of amps, pedals, straps etc, and what about reviews of guitar movies and concerts, i.e. School of rock, Crossroads, Bill and Ted, Joe Satriani, Steve Via, Eric Clapton, etc.
The whole niche of guitar electric and acoustic could be big enough to keep you going a long time.

Hi guys
Just a quick one really. I wanted to know what your opinion was when promoting a product on your site. Would you place it as a Page? or a Post? what is the general
I'd recommend Posts if you're reviewing a lot of products. You can add categories to Posts (unlike Pages) and display them in various groups by creating Custom Menus and adding Category Items to those menus, and add such groups to the main menu, or the sidebar or footer, using a Custom Menu widget. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/creating-custom-menus-in-wordpress or a Categories widget, etc. Rich.
Me again Rich
Just another thing. How do I create a heading on the top menu that isnt actually a page its just a heading with a drop down menu into other pages. EG. I want a heading on my top menu to say - FEATURES - but i dont want to be able to click on this heading i just want it to reveal a drop down menu when you hover over it. Any thoughts.
Mike
Just create the menu item that you don't want to drop down as a Link item in Appearance > Menus, put any old rubbish in, ie. http://www.google.com etc. and use that. You can then delete the link out after you've added it to the menu and dropdown other items from it. :) Rich.
Sorry Rich
I hope i dont come across as ungratefull but i dont really follow what you mean.
Mike
Wow, always RICH in info! That's why I love reading discussions, comments, and responses!. There's a lot to grasp. As always, thanks for asking the question, Mike. And thanks for the response, Rich!
