Procrastination Over

Hi wonderful people of Wealthy Affiliate

I just thought id write a little something today because I feel good and want to let it out. I don't tend to write many blogs, I should probably do this more but often my website content gets priority when I have time to write.

Anyway I have just gotten over a terrible bout of procrastination, it had lasted for almost 2 weeks and in that time I got nothing done in terms of writing content for my website.

When I say procrastination what I really mean is that I had been sucked in by the Wealthy Affiliate platform and the community spirit and I thought I might never get back on track. (exaggeration) No seriously its not that I haven't been busy.

I have been interacting with other members, taking on extra training, researching topics and elements that I have found a little confusing. Its been great to be honest, however, my progress had suffered and it was time to get back on track.

In the last 3 days I have written 3 articles for my website - procrastination over!! - seriously 3 days 3 articles and I plan to keep this momentum going until I have my site boxed off and ready for the world wide web, I reckon that could be another 2 or 3 weeks with no more sudden bouts of procrastination.

What I would like say and I want to make this point clear - I don't feel that any of the last 2 weeks of procrastination was wasted. Seriously I genuinely learnt something everyday, I was able to take something positive from every day and although I didn't get any content wrote for my site - I feel better for it and that is simply down to the excellent service Wealthy Affiliate provides.

I guess the moral of the story is - that even when you think you have hit a brick wall or come off the tracks it doesn't mean you cant make progress. If your having trouble staying focused on content, you can still stimulate your mind by staying on the platform and engaging other members, involving yourself in discussions and asking questions.

Everyday can be productive even if you don't get anything done on your website. I have learnt that now and I have gained some confidence in my chances of going on to be successful.

Thanks for listening guys

Mike

I like the points you make here and I can definitely identify with getting caught up in a whole lot of nothing. Not that engaging the community is nothing but it's really easy to find yourself busy along the periphery of what you're supposed to be doing.

Absolutley! But i have realised that as long as you log into the platform everyday chances are you will pick up on something that you didnt know or was unsure about - no wasted days! Cheers Brooke hope its going well with you

Hey Mike, keep up the good work. It will definitely pay off at the end.

cheers eddie

gonna keep it going and try and get this site boxed off

Definitly you learn a lot! BUT you should have a regular schedule! think long term when it comes to your daily activities and do your research/ interaction on top of that. IMO I`d rather have a crap blog post collecting rankings that I can edit later than a perfect one that takes weeks of second guessing myself. Don`t be a victim of "death by analysis"!!

haha my schedule at the moment is write when I have a spare minute, I like t keep it simple!
