My newbie thoughts about traffic exchanges
Before joining WA, which is a great place to learn and apply, I got involved in a traffic exchange program that like so much out there led me down a path of spending money with optimistic thoughts of making more money. My life experiences taught me to spend only the amount of money that I was comfortable saying "goodbye" to. However, the little I did spend has taught me much about the traffic exchange programs I got involved in. First of all, if you are getting into one of these keep in mind that you will be advertising to an audience of others that are there to get you to join their programs. There are a few ads that are presented of companies selling products other than hype and "join me" programs. I have experienced money coming into my account and I am fully aware of the fact that the amount coming would be more with referrals. At this point in my learning journey I can only suggest anyone that does get involved be prepared "to do more learning than earning"....ah the poet in me! Although I do have a link on my website to one of these, only time will tell the $$ effectiveness of it. I did promote my website there, got hits but NO sales! Of course my products were poems and I knew it would be a miracle that anyone would purchase one! The learning is worth the $ spent.

You won't have to worry about dishing out your hard earned bucks here Mike. Costs are simple, Premum (if you chose), Jaaxy (if you choose, but you can use WA keyword tool instead), and of course you'll be better off buying a domain (if you choose - about 10-12 bucks a year).

Thanks E. I do realize the $$ spent here are well worth it. Got my domain already and just now learning about keywords and such. Rock on for sure!! Being a "band dad" I incorporated one of their YouTube videos on my site doing my part promoting their new music. A side effect of me doing this was realizing that anyone watching it would be doing so on MY site....all about "eyeballs" looking at stuff a know?!!

WA is definitely a "dive in, learn then apply" thing. Great talent here. At the end of the day it comes down to number of eyes on your site then if the eyes motivate the purchase! LOL. Sadly the hype to make money doing this creates a "I can do this NOW" mentality which the the traffic exchanges take advantage of. Thanks for the comment.
