For Those Who Want To, Here's How To Change the 'IMAGE' on WP Websites Themes Templates!
Hello, My Friends...
From time to time I notice discussion or comments on ‘how to change Theme”. That is a simple procedure which probably most of you at WA already know.
However, there may be some who want to know know to change the “image” within most WP Theme Templates. It is a rather mundane procedure …when you know where to look, how to ‘upload’ the image you prefer and then what steps to take to change the IMAGE ...Not the Template - JUST THE IMAGE!
THIS IS HOW I CHANGE THE “IMAGE” ON THEME TEMPLATES…
1.-Select or pick out the image you want on your Theme Template.
2.-This can be almost any ‘image’ or picture or graphic you want.
3.-Copy or Scan the Image you want and Paste on MS PowerPoint.
4.-Write whatever 'text' you want on the PP page with the Picture.
5.-View or Print it to make it LOOK and READ the way you want it.
6.-SAVE the PowerPoint page as PNG or Pneg, GIF, JPEG or TIFF file.
7.-Now UPLOAD the PP page on to the Gallery at your Site.
The reason you must convert or save your PP Page as PNG, Pneg, GIF, JPEG or TIFF is that these files are the Portable format for you to Post or upload on to a Web Page.
In Reference to No. 6 above, you may also save your File as PICTURE in your computer library …Pictures are “portable” as they are and you do NOT have to ‘convert’ them to Portable files as you must do with standard PowerPoint Files.
If you are dealing with PICTURES or Scanned graphics, you transfer direct to your Gallery of your WP Website since they are already “portable graphics”.
NOW THAT WE HAVE THE GRAPHICS/PICTURES READY AND UPLOADED ON THE WEBSITE GALLERY, Go Back to Your Site…
A.-Your Website Opens to the DASHBOARD on the Upper Left Side.
B.-Scroll down to ‘APPEARANCE’ and Click ‘CUSTOMIZE’.
C.-A Window Opens up …scroll down to ‘HEADER IMAGE’.
D.-When You Click ‘Header Image’ it will show current Image on the
Left side and on the Right side it shows“Add New Image”
E.-Click “Add New Image” takes you to the Gallery where you
Uploaded the PNG File or Picture as the case may be.
NOW THAT YOU ARE READY TO ‘UPLOAD MEDIA’…
1.-When YOU Click ‘Upload Media’ you now will be taken to your own
Computer ‘Libraries’.
2.-Click My Documents if it is PP file or Pictures if it is Picture.
3.-On my documents or my pictures, click the File you want and
That will cause that PP file or Picture to be uploaded into your
Website Gallery and be transferable on over to your Page.
On YOUR WEB PAGE!
4.-Your Site cannot accept files greater than 1MB. If your file is too
Large, go back to the original file and REDUCE IT to 1MB or LESS.
5.-GO BACK TO No. 1 above and repeat the procedure for a
successful up load, which now will be ready to go on your Page Theme.
NOW THAT YOU COMPLETED THE 3 PARTS ABOVE…
You will notice on the upper LEFT and on the upper RIGHT of that left window you’re using …it has “close” on the left and “Save” on the right.
TO SAVE THE UPLOADED ‘IMAGE’ ON YOUR SITE …Just click “save” and you are finished. If you want to change 'Image' again ...Just Repeat the above steps!
OK, My Friends, I hope this is helpful to some of you. There are other ways of doing what I did above …this is my simple non-technical way. I wanted to share it with those who may be helped by my way.
If you wish to, take a look at my www.nichemarkets501.com.You can see that I have taken the WP Template and superimposed upon it my own graphics and ‘sales text message’.
Have an AWESOME DAY, My Friends…

Hi , 3SeasonGift, again! I am glad the info came in on time. I hope it makes it easier for you and others to "personalize" your 'theme' much more with your own details. Take care, my good friend!
Thanks, Trialynn, again! I am glad you liked it. I hope the Post stays up for a while at least to have it read by members. I seem to be off the norm on Posting. Many are deleted FAST! Anyway, it's part of learning ...but as a 'marketer' it's hard NOT to be able to use the AIDA formula on these Posts to get action. Take care and thanks again!

When I open my WP website, I could not find the "gallery".
