Hello again, when signing up for Pinterest, is it recommended to do it on a business account or personal account or maybe even both? Thanks.

Hi Mike,
Thanks. I think I only did the personal account, I will have to double check.

To get the best from Pinterest you really need a business account. You can change your personal account into a business one if you are already on there with a personal account.
Without it being a business you can't post directly from your website or create Rich Pins. These are Pins that give more info to the reader. You can find my training on it here. Creating Rich Pins with All in One SEO Hope this helps.

All good suggestions in the below thread.
If you are using Pinterest to promote your business, open a business account. It’s free! The dashboard has analytics windows that can help owners with their business insights.
If you already have a personal account, you might cross-post, but as Anita does, it’s best to manage them separately.
They say Business account and you verify your website. It is also free and you have to have a business account if you ever decided to venture into ads.

With the business account, you get access to analytics (something that is not available to the personal account). This alone sets it apart. This gives an idea of monthly viewers/impressions. And, what they save from your website.
Thanks

Thanks for checking in. I decided to go with the advantages of the Business account.
