Bring Your Website To Life

Hand to heart: Do you feel a personal bond with the author of a Wikipedia entry? Sure, Wikipedia is a valuable source of information, but oh so dull.

Your readers need more than just facts!

When writing Wikipedia entries, the author's job is to present the information as objectively as possible, which means it lacks the personal connection that makes reading enjoyable.

Giving your business a human face will bring lots of benefits.

Captivate your audience with your unique voice. By being you, you'll build that oh-so-powerful personal connection and trust.

But first, you need to know your audience.

Build Trust with a Personal Voice

Giving your business a human face will bring lots of benefits. However, this approach is only for some. Some large companies think they can do this, but it can have consequences if it comes across as fake and lacking in authenticity.

As a small business owner, you can build trust with a personal voice by engaging more personally with your customers.

One of the Best Ways to Build Trust Is Through Your Voice

Make your tone of voice welcoming, friendly, and conversational, so readers feel you are speaking to them one-to-one.

Your unique voice will be a powerful magnet that draws in your ideal customers. Don't make the mistake of ignoring their need for trust β€” connect with them on a personal level by giving your content personality.

Want your website to thrive?

Focus on building trust with your voice to help captivate your audience. Craft your words to create an engaging, understandable story. Make complex topics easy to understand - give them what they are searching for in your own unique voice and put it in simple terms for them.

Know Whom You're Writing for and Why

By knowing your audience, you'll learn how to speak to them and provide them with the information they need in the tone of voice and language they understand.

Are you targeting a scientific audience?

  • Present the evidence clearly, and concisely.
  • Use clinical terms rather than everyday words.

Are you trying to connect with moms?

  • Build trust by interacting in a friendly manner and sharing your experiences and stories.
  • Be open to hearing what they say and respect their privacy and confidentiality.
  • When writing about teething babies, avoid medical jargon.

Identifying your ideal visitor takes time and research, and it's worth every minute you invest.

It will provide your readers with the information they require and build your credibility and authority on the topic.

Give Your Visitors What They Want!

Welcome visitors to your site! Show them that you have the answers they're looking for, then deliver them with your unique touch. Build trust and a personal connection.

Your visitors will come back for more!

Writing content for your site is all about making that connection. Your readers need to feel invested in you and your story; if they don't, they'll hit that Back button without a second thought.

You can make your mark and leave a lasting impression with a few simple tweaks.

As always, your thoughts, feedback, and input are welcomed!

I wish you all a very productive and prosperous rest of your week ahead!

Thank you for reading my blogs and for your continued support.

Thanks Mike, I think building trust and not necessarily thinking of how much time to build that trust.

I think some companies put a too hard timeframe to gain the confidence of there clients. The intentions of a long haul of trust over generations often fails because some businesses expect overnight success.

Kind regards
Erica

Thank you for your feedback and input, Erica.

I totally agree, Mike! πŸ‘

Building trust is so important, not just in affiliate marketing, but in every aspect of life.

The methodology definitely has to fit the situation.

Building trust in a doctor-patient relationship is totally different than the way I build trust on my guitar site.

With patients I have to convince them to trust me enough to put their life in my hands. That happens by demonstrating the right mix of competence and kindness.

On my website I love telling amusing stores of equipment failures, etc., that only a musician would find funny and simultaneously helpful.

Great analogy, Frank! You were one of those that gave me the this lesson early on while you provided feedback on my site β€” thank you!

-Mike

Thanks, Mike.

Haha You’re a quick learner! 😎

Mike, when I listen and read about AI and how people can use it to write blogs for their website, it never appeal to me.
Why?
I'm too connected to my website.
Every blog or image is I'm sync with all that I believe and with my mission statement on my website.

I absolutely love what I'm doing and this shows in ever6yhst I do on my website

Exactly! This post is kind of anti AI in a way, because AI can never replace the human touch!

-Mike

Yes!
Exactly my point!

Hey Mike

You are spot on. I try to talk to my potential customers like we are in the same boat fishing together.

Of course, I can't talk to them exactly how I talk to my fishing buddies πŸ˜‚they might not appreciate that.

I enjoyed your blog sounds like excellent advice to me.

Have a great evening, Chet.

It’s taught here to talk to your audience as if you were talking to a friend β€” and that is what I strive for.

Thank you for your input and feedback, Chet!
