My First Affiliate Commission

This is a quick post with the aim to motivate and inspire anyone who may be starting out or has been at WA a while and still holds doubt or reservation in their minds.

I reached a milestone the other day. I earned my first affiliate commission!

Whilst out shopping with my partner, my phone buzzed. I was waiting for a call back from someone so when I checked my phone, I was initially disappointed to see yet another email. I opened it anyway and there it was, a message of congratulations stating I have been credited with an affiliate commission.

The amount was not going to change my life or allow me to quit my day job, however the amount was irrelevant. The fact that it was my first, was the all important point to me.

I'm not a guy that tends to lose control of his emotions, but I was totally surprised by the pure elation you get when you achieve your first referral or sale. I found myself performing a fist pump and bellowing out cries of yes before I could check myself and reign it back in.

For anyone here at WA who may still hold thoughts of doubt either about themselves or the opportunity here, then this is for you. But remember, this only works if YOU work. So;

• maintain the attitude you had when you first started
• don't let up on possessing a bad ass work ethic (and)
• adopt a student mentality always

Keep it simple, work your butt off and success WILL happen!
