Question about editing a page that is on page one of google

Hi, I was just checking my posts and found that one of my posts is on page one of google through my G+ account. I do not have my site monetized yet I am about to add some reviews with links. My question is if I edit my post to include a link over to my review post will that mess up my rank or pull me off page one?

I would not think that it would change your ranking unless your removed something on the page.
