Distractions
How many times has this happened to you. Your right in the middle of creating content for a site, or doing a special project and babam your bombarded by all sorts distractions .They can be a multitude of them.
The same holds true when we are building a web site. When a visitor comes to your site are they distracted by flashing banners and flooded with affiliate links. You probably created some great content on your niche, but with those type of distractions it would create a lost visitor. We need to use visuals related to our content ,as Kyle mentions in the lessons,
As I visit sites just to get ideas on layouts , I am turned off by all the distractions on the Home page. The home page sets the tone , my own opinion on the subject. The navigation buttons displayed will have you running in circles. We need to keep things simple and easy for visitors.to navigate and enjoy there visit .

That is very distracting. If I am on someone’s website I want to read the information I was looking and then move on. Those nuisance flashy things will make me go to another website and get what I was searching for. Good post. Alicia
