Good morning Mikael,
Thank you for your very wise words, I know where you're coming from.
I can see how a YouTube manager could be really helpful, especially with a channel of your size, Mikael. It's great that it helps to free up time for you so you can focus on other projects, etc. I have always been one for using professionals who can help me move forward; there is only so much that we can do on our own.
I'm guessing that you use John Jonas's agency in the Philippines, which I have heard good things about and also read his book.
Once again, Mikael, thank you for another helpful tube update.
Have a great day.
Roy
Yes, that is the platform I have mainly used to hire.
I like many aspects of it and has helped find some great people. But you still need to learn how to filter and test to find the right people so it will not happen automatically just by joining. But definitely a good place to find affordable and great VAs.
Thank you for confirming, Mikael, it's appreciated.
That's actually the bit that I find quite daunting, interviewing the people and finding the right person for the job. Especially when we are hiring someone from abroad and often, the culture can be very different from the culture that we are used to. It's always good to hear a recommendation; thank you.
All the best.
Roy
Happy to help.
John's emails helps quite a bit to understand the culture. Also, quite a few years ago, there was a training here inside WA created by a member that should some great details and that is how I got my first knowledge about it. Don't know if it is still available but it was by someone called Jerry.
From there, I then tweaked it a bit and learned more until I had a process that worked for me, and it is definitely something worth doing once you have something to invest into it as it has really helped me scale.
Thank you, Mikael, much appreciated.
I'm guessing that it could have been the training below from Jerry Huang. Hiring Writer Like a PRO Even If You've Never Hired Before I am actually signed up for John's emails, although I don't always read them, but once I am in a position to hire, I will take note.
That's brilliant that it worked out for you and you were able to tweak the process, etc.
Have a fantastic day.
Roy
Yes, that is the training. It is a bit old but I assume it will still give a good foundation, even though it has been years since I watched it.
I agree with you, Mikael.
I believe that it's the type of training that probably does not date too much in the situation.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
Roy
