Thank You WA & Site Support!
I apologize this is so long, but I really felt the need to share...
This morning started off as any other day. I woke up, did my morning routine, worked out, then sat down to start working on my website. I was finishing up a post I had started working on yesterday and was pretty excited to get it published.
I went straight to Site Content to find my saved draft and began writing away from where I left off. I needed to reference something in a previous post so I opened a new tab and typed in my address and almost cried!
I had a message stating that my website had no hosting and a link to Wealthy Affiliate. I checked my phone and same message. This hasn't happened to me before so naturally I was upset. I quickly contacted Site Support and they not only contacted me within minutes, but my site was back up and running!
Delighted and very grateful, I headed back to Site Content and finished up my post. After using the impressive grammar check and making the necessary adjustments I went to publish my content, however, for some reason the drop down menu under
Publish As: Choose A User
had no options and only a small portion of the empty drop down menu appeared.
Thinking this may have had something to do with my browser, I opened up IE 10 and had the same results. Without hesitation I went straight over to Site Support and opened up a ticket. Again, within minutes I had a message letting me know they are looking into the issue.
Pleased with the response, I decided to catch up on some comments I had awaiting approval from Site Comments while I waited. After writing my response to the first one I clicked the Approve and Reply button and was presented with yet another error message:
Please select a user to reply under
The user email address was not found
A username was not found
After checking to make sure my Gravatar was set up properly within WA, I once again, contacted Site Support. Within minutes I received the same message as I did for the Site Content issue, so I decided to see if anyone else was having the same problems in the chat.
I didn't see anyone reporting issues with Site Content or Site Comments, though there were a few people saying they couldn't log into their WP site through Site Rubix. So naturally I went straight to Site Manager only to be presented with a message that my WP blog was not installed.
Though I read that others were having the same issues, I decided to contact Site Support once again just to let them know. I received the same message again and knew I was just going to have to wait this one out. I figured it must have been related to the issue I had earlier with my website.
There were other things I could do anyway so I ended up having a productive day while waiting for the issues to be resolved, checking in every 30 minutes of course.
One of the ways I used my time was to be more active within WA. I have been here for a little over a month now and haven't interacted much since I've been so caught up in my training, writing content, and getting my business started. So anyway, I headed to the chat and asked question blog posts to see if I could help someone even though I've only been here a month.
I would let people know in the chat that I was having the same issue and advise them to put in a ticket as well. I would also share the same updates that Site Support was giving me. I know I found comfort in knowing that I wasn't the only one having issues, so I figured others may too.
One member was very flustered and probably wasn't aware of what exactly was going on. Others had informed this member of the probable situation since many of us were having similar issues, but the member didn't seem to accept it.
The last I seen written was "I'm done with WA." I replied and tried to explain further and let the member know that Site Support is aware and working hard on it, but I heard nothing back.
Anyway, my point here is this:
If we give up, we fail. If we keep going we may still fail, but we can just pick ourselves up and try again until we succeed.
This goes the same for things that are outside of our control. Yes, technical issues happen all the time, all around the world, for every person and every business. I don't think there's one business out there that hasn't had technical issues that didn't require some time and investigative work by a technical team.

As I was writing this blog every issue I mentioned had been resolved by Site Support! I can't thank WA and Site Support enough for everything you all have done to help me stay calm, reassure me, and resolve all my issues within half a day.
I'm sure I annoyed the heck out of Site Support today, so thank you for not only solving my problems, but for being so prompt and respectful throughout every interaction!
Sorry this was so long, I just really wanted to share what a wonderful place Wealthy Affiliate truly is and to reassure everyone that no matter what happens, as long as we never give up we'll never fail!
