Does anyone have any experience with referring to medical practices, doctors, practitioners? It would be like 1-800-dentist but I have a different class of doctors - I might ne
I'm understanding your question Michael but I have no experience in setting up my own affiliate network based on a personal product or service that I own - I would reach out to Kyle or Carson who definitely have experience in this area.

Thanks - don't want to setup my own network. Maybe two lifetimes from now. But I know some professions - niches if you will - that are definitely going through the roof on the subject of my website. Just take a quick scan on - http://health-over-70.siterubix.com - and you'll see the subject area and it appears to me that these doctors have websites but no marketing at all. Referral fees would be very large. But as far as I can see from their websites they don't have an affiliate marketing function. I don't want to sell them that but I do want to setup something so I can refer to them.
Yes, I was referring to the steps involved in setting up an affiliate network for their (different practitioners) services.
I like the beginning stages of your site and how detailed you are within certain Pages/Post, you're off to a great start.
Also I can see your interest in wanting to affiliate with these services, however if it's not offered at the time to join, then there's not much you can do.
There is however numerous affiliate programs for certain subjects on your site that I can see right off the bat such as - Diabetes, Alzheimer's, Obesity, and so on.
There's plenty products/affiliate programs out there related to these topics. I would do some research and look into these programs that best suit you and your direction of your website.
Excellent niche choice by the way.
Chris - thanks for your reply but I don't follow you. Do you have experience with this? Can you elaborate?
Yes sir,
Michael, please check out "SharASale" for this. I am almost certain they will allow you to set up your vendors.
Make sure you are setting it up as a seller or vendor and not an affiliate.
I am certain they can handle optometry.
Chris - thank you. That's an affiliate network company. They group affiliates around a collection of slightly-branded small online startup retailers. Looked through their retailers and none where actual professional services referrals - what you would expect - weight loss, stop snoring, home services, etc. They offer services to setup affiliate marketing for online retailers who don't have any sales force. Once they setup a retailer then they throw them to their entire affiliate network - just wait the retailer wants - a bunch of free referring parties - affiliates working on sending them business. I'm really looking for an example of where an affiliate worked with a professional services provider and I suspect that nobody has actually done that because I'm not getting any bites on my post. Thanks again.
