"Cloudy...with a Chance of success"

This "take" off of a familiar movie title is how I would characterize my first 3 weeks with Wealthy Affiliate. On Sept. 13, 2013, I became a free member of WA not knowing what a blog was and how I could ever consider this as my full-time job. When people asked me what I am doing (for a job), I didn't know how to respond...I still don't! When I told my wife I was going to be a "blogger", she laughed and said, "yes, you can do that has a hobby, but you need to get a job!" I have been interviewing for jobs, but no offers have been made to me...so I continue my training in WA. (Isn't this why most of us connected with WA in the first place...so we don't have to convince employers of our value?) I became a Premium member on Sept. 18 and began my Certification trainings. I have found that getting that first website up and going to be the biggest challenge so far. Things are still "a little cloudy" when it comes to understanding how all of this is going to benefit our family's financial condition, but my words to those who are walking in my shoes is just to TRUST that the progressive training we are going through is going to give us the "big picture" soon. When I started the training, I wrote that my goal in 3 months was to make $300/day and have two websites up and running. At this point, I don't doubt that this is possible, but my focus is on making sure I am setting up the site correctly, connecting to Google properly, and providing interesting material to read. I have to believe that Kyle and Carson have intentionally set this program up for us to succeed. I press onward waiting for the clouds to be moved and the sun to shine in!
