Hi everyone, happy Sunday. I’ll keep this post short and to the point...

Are you working towards building an authority niche site or are you just pushing content like your life depends on it without any direction?

Listen, you’ve probably noticed tons of competitors in your industry, am I right?

So your mind automatically begins to race...

I have to publish more, 60,100,300 posts and that’s your answer...

But it’s time you look at blogging from a greater long-term brand sustainability angle...

Which I don’t think you hear enough(unless you’ve been doing this awhile).

You shouldn’t be afraid of a tough niche - that usually means money is to be made...

And ways for you to add more value pre and post transactions. I honestly think the old way is to slam out content after content even if it is quality and not focus straight away and getting your name out through multi-media channels...

Big mistake. In my back pain space for example...

I found all the “amazon affiliate niche” competitors, I reversed engineered EVERYTHING, came up with solutions for:

1. Offers

2. Monetization/conversion process

3. Content

In that order. Obviously i could be here for hours talking about this type of framework, I’ll save it for another time.

I want you to really study your competitors(I taught how to create content and content that converts in my private Facebook group to those members recently)....

And you REALLY need to take your time. If they don’t have an Instagram marketing presence - you better well make sure you at least do, the same goes for Facebook groups/marketing, etc.

You have to understand that your blog is your marketing channel, you don’t have a business until you begin collecting emails - building relationships, trust, etc, period.

“But I don’t have enough content on my site Michael”...

It’s time to change your mindset and begin to get more education if that’s your response. Anyways...

I saw what my competitors were doing and not doing, shady backlink tactics from years ago, post from automation social media tools that don’t belong there just so they can keep up, sucks I know.

But you need to stand out...

Build out a complete offer, conversion process, as well content routine and I highly suggest getting a lead magnet from the start...

Using something like Facebook to push free and paid content, google free and paid content as well a couple others...

Not to sell but to get your name out there to the masses and drive value like:

“Hi this is Michael, I help people who work in offices relieve their back pain through x,y,z. Don’t promote. Later on you can start showing lead magnets.

On a tangent...

I was having a conversation with my younger brother today about him and his girlfriend wanting to partner up with a few of my other cousins in a caregiving home business...

It all came from my aunt who doesn’t speak good english(she’s Salvadoran) and brought in over 50+, 70,000+ per month and I was like man...

And I think that’s a really smart move...if you can handle it. The potential to make expontential income is there($30,000+ per month). Yes, you’ll be putting in hours of work(depending on the roles too), but for most people they don’t want a brick and mortar business...

And I get that, you’re persuaded by smart marketers who are out to get you so you have to really do your research when you come online...

Some don’t tell you everything even when you join with them, so question their inteligence on how you can really make this work, ask wha strategies and tactics, conversion processes work today, for your niche, so you can make this full time like maybe they are, not some fluff response back.

Point is, I’m sure many of you are here to do this full-time and like myself I wouldn’t want it any other way...

So you really have to push yourself to places you don’t want to go, and keep building an authority every single day.

Thanks,

Michael

Thanks for sharing your insights, Michael. I'm a newbie and found your post valuable.

I agree Michael, social media is very important for businesses. Especially at the start, it can bring some traffic before google does.

Good advice
