so many affiliates! so little space!

So, I've been approved for a bunch of different affiliates through different mediums (Rakuten, CJ, FlexOffers and independents) but I can't fit all of the advertisers on my site using the sidebar widget, header and footer. Do I need to do blog posts for some of the big ones? I'm trying to think of some new blog posts I could do to feature some of them. I'm opposed to inserting them in my text unless it pertains to the text in question. Is there any way to incorporate those into Google AdSense? I'm getting hits but no commissions yet is why I'm asking. Any suggestions from the peanut gallery? lol

put some on every page(post) until you have them all out and do some more posting

Why do you feel the text must be a question? Makes more sense as the answer to a question. That's the most common way to do things. You're going to find a MUCH better conversion rate from text links than you ever will from banner ads. Use text links. Write articles that are reviews of individual products or a small group of like products, with links in their names to buy them from the individual merchant.

Yes, I would definitely be doing blog posts to incorporate affiliate links. Are there products associated with those programs that you could review? You can even earn commissions from a negative review as sometimes people still go ahead and buy the product (or a suggested alternate)

I wouldn't put too many ads in the sidebar. A few are fine. I have never generated much from ads in the sidebar on any of my sites though. Most of my commissions come from clicks through blog posts.
