Baby Steps
So, I'm into day two, possibly three, of my membership at WA (it has gone 2 am in the UK and the days have begun to merge into one) and I have some baby steps to celebrate.
I have brought over three sites. The first is a domain I have owned for my freelance writing business for ages and have only ever used for email (that will change). The second is a domain I purchased on New Years Day having written out a huge plan for a website. The third -- and the one that I'll be working on first -- is one I bought today (having realised that the second site was going to take me a ridiculously long time).
Inspired by Nick Usborne (a successful copywriter who makes a ton from his Coffee Detective site), I'm going to be working on a website called ~ thetea.site ~ first. I wanted to use tea.site but that was close to $20k to buy (gulp). The $8 I paid for my domain name was slightly more attractive.
So far, I've chosen a theme - although I will be upgrading to the premium version - and written and posted my first article. I figure that even by adding one article a day, the amount of content will add up over the course of a year or two. It's nowhere near ready to be added to my list of official sites, but you're welcome to have a look.
The only real issue I've faced (aside from selecting from the ridiculous amount of WordPress themes and trying not to punch the pc every time I looked up a domain name to find a holding page) is that I can't seem to get the Amazon slider to work on a mobile device. Thankfully, I've had an Amazon affiliate account for ages, so I didn't have to worry about sorting that out.
A tip I'd like to share....
I came across a great resource for royalty free images. You can find it here....
That's all for now.

Welcome! Sounds like you have a lot to go on which is great. Just make sure you have each post contain a keyword that will help rank your site. There is training on how to do keyword research on WA (I'm only on day 3, but I have been watching tons of the videos and I have been doing internet marketing for a little while now). If you can make one article a day with great keywords to build each page/post around, you should start to see a lot of traffic. Also make sure you content is good!
Thanks for the website. I wish you great success with WA.
