Just An Update (Nothing To See Here)

I don't have much to discuss really...

I hit last week's goals.

My new membership site is taking form and getting a few sign ups.

Other than that, it's been pretty quiet (for a change)...

No major issues with my mother-in-law.

Work has been pretty quiet.

I did get a new Oculus Quest and I love it but fear it may take me astray from work I should/could be doing.

This Week's Goals

More of the same:

  • Research two keywords per site (total of 6)
  • Flesh out two article templates, including title, headings, etc. per site (total of 6)
  • Publish one article per site (total of 3)
  • Do the post-post stuff (share on social media, submit for indexing, etc.) for each post
  • Help a minimum of five members each day (Mon-Fri) via Live Chat or answering posted questions (total of 25)
  • Leave six comments per day (Mon-Fri), assuming there are that many requests (total of 30)
  • Share a WA post on Facebook
  • Write one post on WA (this one)

That's really about it.

As you can see, not much really. That's why this post is so short, LOL.

Now, what about you? What happened last week and what are your goals for this one? Let me know by commenting below.

Thank you,

Scott

Thanks for sharing. Your weekly goal is a great sample for me.

Any time. I try to share my process in the hopes that it may help others in some way.

Quick easy listing of goals!

Good job, Scott!

Hi Scott,

Great that you hit all your goals for the week.

I got my articles done and helped a few people, but that's about it for the past week. I started feeling weak and tired again by mid-week. I went back to the doctor, they did a chest x-ray, and found I still have pneumonia. So I'm on steroids and new antibiotics. This is getting old...

Anyway, my goals for this week remain the same as last except for the addition of site comments. I'm hopeful I'll feel up to doing some videos.

1. Write 3 articles for my SAC site
2. Come up with 7 new keywords.
3. Research new KWs
4. Help 3 ppl each day
5. Write 1 WA post
6. Create 3 new videos and include in posts.
7. Update 6 older posts.
8. Catch up on getting comments for newer articles.

Have a great week!

Michael

Great goals. Just remember, health first.

Oh yeah. I've been taking it easy. This crud just seems to be hanging on. I got a lot of rest today and intend on staying out of the cold and damp weather until I get an all-clear from the doctor.

Cheers,

Michael

Hi Scott,

Happy New Year! I’ve spent the last couple of weeks moving and recovering from the Xmas shopping season at my physical businesses.

My goal this week is to start listing out a list of to do’s like you have done. Focus is my word of the week.

I hope that you have a productive week.

Thanks! Get that list going. It's a great way to hold yourself accountable.

Getting ready to install a new theme on one website and then completely revamp the menu. I must!

Oh, what theme did you decide to go with?

I'm trying Generate Press, but having a few problems with it.

I use it on my membership site...what are your issues?

The main problem is that my header picture, which covered the entire top of my other theme, will not get very big; it just occupies a space on one side of the top. I've tried everything I could think of to get it larger. No options in customize that change it. I don't know what to do.

Can you share the URL so I can look?

Well, right now I have a "maintenance mode" plugin activated. I have work to do on the menu. Let me send it tomorrow, okay?

Ok
