You become what you believe.
I wanted to tell you guys about my personal experience I had, years back. I'm not very old (19 years old) so I don't have crazy success stories, but I do know how it feels like to be successful at something. About seven years ago, my sister took piano classes. I thought it was too hard so I never started. Eventually, my sister started telling me that it was too hard, and she devoted less time to it and eventually, she stopped playing the piano. I asked her why she stopped and she told me "It's too hard." I told her, that it wasn't a valid excuse and she told me I was wrong. I played the piano for a little while on my own and I kind of fell in love with it even though I didn't know how to play anything. She came to me and told me "Don't even bother to waste your time." I told her, "just witness". four months after she told me that, I was playing the piano by ear without having to go to piano class or anything. After a year on the piano, I was playing Maple Leaf Rag (A Ragtime composition) and I was playing Fur Elise. I then taught myself how to play jazz, then salsa and eventually, I consideered myself a pianist. She still can't believe it until this day but she didn't have to believe it, because I believed it and that's all that mattered. I believed in myself and when you believe in yourself, you start to become what you believe.

Hello Pedro,
Well done for pursuing what you like, music n piano.
I like your attitude, not giving up when it's hard.
Cheers, Cheng
