Pinterest Works
For anyone using or not using Pinterest then this short Blog Post is for you.
Pinterest are making changes and many of us will see a new look cover to your account.
Previously you had no cover image and it was your followers that were shown. Now you will notice it shows how many monthly views you get. For anyone not using Pinterest please note I have only 500 followers, 5 months ago I had 6! However I now get 123K monthly views. I find this number astounding, especially as I have really only taken it seriously for about 4 months.
If you use Pinterest or not this just shows the power of the platform and you really need to consider it as a legitimate way to grow your business.
Most of my traffic to my site comes from Pinterest and now I know why.

Yes and most people on Pinterest are looking to buy. They are image driven. Not everyone on Pinterest is using it as a business, those that are will be benefiting.
Nice Karen, I have just started getting more into it, as a traffic source, mainly because its so easy to use, or put pins on

Thats was my problem... no patience, yet after the training here, I went back and re~looked at it, thinking, this is easy to use. You'll find yourself pinning without thinking about it and before you know where you are you'll have followers galore, at least thats my experience backed up by Karens post
It looks like it's really working out for you. I hope one day I will post a success story on Pinterest too. Lol. I can't wait.
Thank you for sharing I've been mostly posting on Facebook and Google +. But I will start focusing on Pinterest and see if it helps with traffic.
It is worth it. There is an art to it and I did a couple of courses to help me get my head around it.
I have never been able to fully exploit Pinterest till now. Though I have been into this blogging business for a little over 6 months, I wish I knew better. I have a Pinterest account, followed many people, joined some "tribes" (Tailwind). Still, I'm not having many followers. I have four followers :( I have done pretty much everything - tags, description, good-looking images.
My question is simple: How do I increase the number of followers?
To increase the number of followers, either add pins or better still use the search bar and look for people you know. My account is growing now through doing that
Okay. Understood. But what if people I know (friends, relatives...) do not use Pinterest much?
Use the alphabet soup way of searching, as shown in the training, that will give you variables and people to follow away from friends
The thing is I'm following many people but it hasn't resulted in they following me back. I'm using Pinterest only for Minions jokes at the moment :(
I used Facebook Groups who do like for like posts or promote your social media account to start with. This got the ball rolling for me.

Yeah, you're right. I'm getting slow. It's the gun I need to change. I'm still using Colt Walker Six-Shot Revolver. Haha..I have already followed Karen.
I'm following you there, Karen. Correction. It seems I have only 2 followers there and not 4 as I said earlier. This is so embarrassing :(
When it comes to Pinterest, I'm no better. I would say worse, so I will redo the training again.

Thanks, Karen. I need to look into it. I signed up for Pinterest about a year ago maybe for a recipe I wanted but cancelled it because it was generating too much email that I didn't want.
Need to take another look I guess.

You can turn off emails. I only get one every now and again.
