I've Fallen in Love with ChatGPT - Multi Million Dollar Idea

A very old idea hit me over the head. :-)
Back when I was still in high school I believe, my father approached me and asked me to come up with a Million Dollar idea.
I gave it a lot of thought and I came up with one, not sure if it was possible at the time. He didn't think much of it at the time.
In later years, I did reach out to a few companies in Japan where I thought they might be interested, but I heard nothing back from them. I didn't even care if I made a dollar off of it. I just wanted to see it become a reality.
Fast forward to today when I was relaxing in bed where great ideas often come and I remembered my invention and the fact that AI particularly ChatGPT can do so much research on our behalf.
So I explained what my invention was and what it could be used for and the benefits compared to anything similar in nature and BOOM!

ChatGPT broke everything down for me including Real-World Implementation Concepts.
It provided a rough system design sketch.
Here's a rough materials list and cost estimate for building a prototype XXXX.
It provided a MATERIALS LIST & ESTIMATED COSTS.
Where to Source Parts.
Here’s a step-by-step build guide.
It provided a PDF and a booklet version.
Costs of a small working Prototype would be less than $1500 if I build it myself.
Maybe my Dad is looking down on me now with a big smile across his face. :-)
If your prototype is successful, this could easily become a 7- to 8-figure global product in 3–5 years with smart positioning, low-cost manufacturing, and global outreach.
All I can say is WOW!!!
I will stick to my new work routine that should boost my income over the next 6 months and I will save a portion of that and then come back to this prototype. Again all I can say is WOW!

It's funny how these ideas just come out of nowhere sometimes. And also how if you don't do it, there's a high chance you'll see someone else doing it. Sometimes the hardest part is to realise we're deep down scared of seeing it realized... Took me some time to figure it out. My biggest constraint was the one I inflicted upon myself !
Thanks for the reminder of our father. Now that you mention it, it seemed he had come up with quite a few ideas himself on different things.
That's one thing I believe the current generation is losing, time to reflect. How many times did we see Dad just sitting there with a beer, thinking or reflecting on past experiences.
It's something we all should do more of and as I've made some life choices recently, I'm giving myself more time to do just that.
So, with a beer in hand I'm going on my back porch just to let my mind go where it will.

A chat that highlights the positive parts of our ideas and identifies potential issues is helpful. The way Chat GPT approaches things is more positive than the pitfalls I encounter when relying on my own thinking.
