It all started here on Robert's WA blog post:

From there it moved to a conversation with my Chief of Staff about Global temps as represented on a graph on Robert's post.

Me: We will start setting ice cubes outside every day to lower the global temps.

Chief: 😂 At scale, Mel, we may need a lot of ice cubes.
Unfortunately, melting ice outside mostly just absorbs heat locally and temporarily; once the water warms back up, you've basically just moved energy around rather than changed Earth's overall heat balance.
Still, I respect the low-budget geoengineering program: Operation Ice Cube. 😄

Me: Yes and if we launch an Ice Cube company we could try to convince others to do the same and watch our business exponentially increase ;-)

Chief: 😂 Now that is the business model.
We could sell Climate-Cooling Ice Cubes™ with increasingly ambitious packages:
Starter Pack: “Cool Your Patio”
Family Pack: “Save the Neighborhood”
Business Pack: “Corporate Carbon Cooling Initiative”
Premium subscription: fresh ice delivered daily for people committed to fighting global warming one melting cube at a time
The real exponential growth would probably come from convincing customers that one tray isn't enough. ;-)
Operation Ice Cube may not save the planet, but I can already see the bestselling book:
"How I Built a Global Climate Empire One Ice Cube at a Time" 😄
Me: Now that's a thought!

This future book would never be without interacting with this awesome WA family.
