Thankful For This Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is almost here. I have so much to be thankful for this year. For the past 2 years, I have gone through the hills and valleys of trying to start a business. It has not been easy.

Being a single parent, working to provide for my son, and building a business on the side is no easy task. I am thankful for my children, and that I found Wealthy Affiliate.

I am thankful for my daughter, Tracy. She is 27, soon to be 28. She is a college graduate, working as a band director. She is on the road constantly and I hardly get to see her. We talk by text and phone most of the time. I get to see my daughter for Thanksgiving for a few hours. I always cherish the times I get to see my daughter. I miss her but, I am thankful that I taught her to be accomplished and independent. My daughter is a diabetic but, she watches her diet and exercises. She takes very good care of her health. She will always be my tinkerbell.

I am thankful for my son, Neil. He is a big blessing in my life. He loves gaming and working on technical stuff on the computer. He helps me out when it comes to new computer, phone equipment or new software to learn. He is in the 9th grade and loves animals. He loves our dog Mocha. My son is about to turn 15 next month. I am very blessed because my son is not a typical teenager. He does not have any social media and does not want any account at this time. My son says he prefers to be drama free and that he does not like gossip. He does not like to talk on the phone. He has only a couple of friends. He is looking forward to getting a job when he becomes of age. I am one lucky mom.

I am thankful for finding wealthy affiliate. It was by accident that I found wealthy affiliate. I was searching for a group where I could learn to build a website. I was with another group and I was paying $150.00 a month which a little steep. I never could get anyone to help me with the tools. So, I decided to leave and search for something else. I saw lots of good reviews on wealthy affiliate. So I signed up. I must admit, I was slow at working on the things here because I was skeptical. I got a taste of the inside and WA won me over. I was very impressed by how everyone was so helpful, the warm welcomes, the team work, the training. I was very impressed with it all. Now, I have two websites with blogs and they are going. I purchased my first .com website. Yay! I will be purchasing a couple of more after the holidays. I have learned a wealth of information. I have invested in other tools as well which is helping me learn so much about how to create a business, content, marketing, and personal development. I still have so much to learn and I shall continue the education. I appreciate all of you. You all are unique and everyone has the same goal. We all have the dream. Some of you have overcome big obstacles and you are my inspiration to never give up.
