I realized the site name I chose does not reflect my niche as closely as I would like it to and would like to change it. It is a siterubix site. I have read articles and got mi
You can't change a domain name but you can create a new website with a different name. You can then use copy and paste using the Text tab (not the Visual tab) to move the content to the new domain.
OR you can just use the website you've got and when you buy your domain name you can quickly and easily move the content from one site to the other using the Move tool. I don't think the Move tool works from one siterubix subdomain to another.
10-4 So if I choose to keep it until I buy my domain, can I rename it then? Or will it stay the same but just drop the siterubix part?
Also I do not understand the Text tab vs. Visual tab but I will look around.
All domain names are unique and when the time comes you can choose any domain name that's available. It doesn't have to be anything like your siterubix subdomain name.
When you are editing or writing a post you'll be able to see the tabs I mentioned.
Awesome, thank you so much! Im so glad there are folks that don't mind helping us dummies! Haha
