My First WA Blog

Hey guys! I just finished Level 2 of the Certification Courses! I'm pretty excited about moving forward. I try to do at least one class an evening but there are times when I just want to sit on the couch and relax.

Lately I've been questioning my niche (dog clothes and accessories). I worry that I will not be able to come up with enough content for my site. I pose a question to you more experienced WA members out there:

Do all my posts need to be about my niche? Or can they just be more general dog posts?

Thank you so much for everyone one that has helped me to this point!

~Jessica

I think that 60% or thereabouts of your posts should be on dog clothes, but you can always post about dogs, accessories, toys, all the stuff John said (Atlanticus). I work in rescue and I know many dog folks. Trust me when I say you will not run out of material for doggie clothes. You don't know how many 70-pound basset hounds I've seen dressed as Cinderella. :)

Just be yourself and go with your passion.

Hello Jessica, I think your niche has great potential and you won't run out of ideas for content. Do some research and you'll see what I'm talking about. Accessories alone can include grooming aids, shampoo's and conditioners, skin care products, toys, etc., and you can also expand on each of those.

Great ideas! Thanks!

Congrats on your first WA blog.
As far as your posts, they don't all have to be about your exact niche. You can have fun with it :)
