Time to "Get Away"
There are times when I just drop everything im doing, and turn a 180 in a different direction you know when the list is full of to do's you don't know where to start and just say it can wait. Oh sorry, thats my ADD kicking in!
As like most people I could think of 10 things lined up that needed to be done on this beautiful Saturday morning, (including some W.A. time) and remember my grandsons were wanting to come over today and spend some time, so I put my "to do list away" and decided today is their day.
Oh those lazy days of Summer are here, the thing about living here in the South is the drastic change in weather we get, it can go from 40's to 80's even 90's before you realize it,so once again summer has snuck up upon us. It was a perfect Saturday spent with my Grandkids.
Pool time, pizza, and when they are done with that it was time for fishing, so we headed off to the pond and I cast the line for my grandson and said reel it slow and before I knew it, "bam" he had landed him a big one! The excitement on his face is priceless. Although he didn't like that whole "catch and release thing" I told him he'd be even bigger the next time he caught him, seem to satisfy him. So the next time your plate is full, sometimes it pays to just step back, take a breath and get away from it all and "ENJOY" yourself with what ever that is. The rest will always be there waiting on you when you return.

That is the best way to relax -when you are doing some simple pleasure-fishing,walking,swimming, cooking etc which does not involve FRED(@#$%! Ridiculous Electronic Device eg laptop,iPhone etc) !
Hey, it's a no brainer when it comes to kids and fishing, the rest of life can wait, no doubt about it. What a great day you all had together! :). Jack
