Say What?!?! Page 1?!?!?!
So, it's been 10 days since my ah-huh moment when I started to go all SEO ninja on my website - well, today I did a Google search for one of my targeted keywords and I was shocked to see that I moved from page 4 to rank #3 on page one!
For a second keyword, I've gone from who-knows-what page (somewhere over 10) to rank #4 on page 4 of Google.
Just a recap - I own an online retail store located on Zibbet, which is similar to Etsy. I already have a large number of customers, but am moving my shop onto my own website with current customers already planning to follow.
Back to the first keyword...granted, this particular keyword has incredibly low competition, but I haven't even opened my shop on my website, and that's when the traffic will really start flowing and my ranking start to increase.
Another interesting fact - my website has even surpassed the ranking of my own Zibbet shop :)
