Get More Traffic on Lengthy Blog Posts

I'm very new to WA, but have been blogging about education and political issues over on Blogspot for a few years. I have learned so much here in the past few weeks (here's my website: The Academic Life Coach), and really appreciate all the terrific support from this community.

I wanted to share a tip a long-time blogger friend of mine gave me that has made a difference: break down lengthy posts into parts. In our fast-paced digital world, many people don't have the time to sit and read lengthy articles, no matter how good the content. I can deliver that content by writing a series. Each day I end a post with a teaser for the next post. Then begin the next part with references to the previous parts. The result is more traffic overall, and readers can focus in on the parts that are particularly meaningful to them.
