I tried to add a new post but now I can only add my post through "text" and I use to do everything through "visual" now I can't see anything in visual mode. How do I fix this?</
If you are still having this issue, you can try 2 things.
1. Temporarily switch the theme to Twenty-Fifteen. This is the
default WordPress Editor. Select a post to edit and see if you can see the text in visual mode. If you can, great.
Switch back to your current theme.
Sometimes, if there is a code error, this alone will reset the default WP codes and your visual editor may start work now.
2. If the above does not work, install the Google Libraries Plugin. You don't need to set this plugin up or do anything other than to simply activate it. It allows your site to use common javascript libraries
from AJAX Google libraries.
These might not solve the problem but probably worth a try.
You may still need to use CTRL-F5 to refresh the page after viewing the content on the web and returning to the editor.

Hey,
this happened quite often in the last few weeks.
Have a look at this training. Maybe you can fix your problem with it. Troubleshooting - Visual Editor Not Showing Up In Wordpress Moritz
Thanks for that, yes I saw that training in another chat and followed it but nothing has worked, so I will just keep going with the courses and hold on posting until it works again. thanks for the reply.

Why can't I see or post on "visual" tab of post?

Just an update of what I did to get the Visual tab working again, after trying all the suggestions -nothing seemed to work. But then I realised that my image files I was purchasing from dollar photo club were HUGE so all I did was download the plugin - Imsanity to automatically reduce the file size when I upload it onto Media and BAM- problem solve it, no issues now!

I can't find my first post and have a problem with my menu set up. http://thenextcut.siterubix.com
You will have to change settings around under the Appearance > Customize portion of your WordPress dashboard, each theme is different! Hopefully for your theme there is a static page option?
Hope I've helped, cheers!

yeah i customised my static front page as "Front page" as the "The Salon" page and then "Posts page" to "blog" - when i created my first post when I view it I can see it and it appears to be under "blog" but when I click "blog" directly from the menu it's not there

Awesome.
Good to know that for future reference.
