My name is Gene Mott, Married my College Sweetheart many years ago. We live in Carlsbad, California. Had one Son, who left this world a few years ago. He left us with a Grandson who we are also proud of. I am retired, but started my Online experience about 10 years ago. Just a shame there were no Wealthy Affiliates in those days. My long time friend Joe Henning and I have exchanged information over the years. I have made money Online and lost a lot of it back. My biggest success has come from helping others to not make the same mistakes I made many years ago. There is nothing more personally rewarding than to see my Downline Friends be successful. I have one extremely successful business with a Downline that covers the world. The joy I get from working with these wonderful people has its own reward. More later. It is now later and I just became a Pro member. Joe, the only thing I can say is, I just wish I had known about Wealthy Affiliate sooner... I just trust that all the wonderful people that I am following will now follow me.

You'll discover free websites, tools to build them, free webhosting and so many other benefits, most of us eventually upgraded just because it makes so much sense... but that's not to pressurize you before you even loaded your profile photo!!
You will also learn about traffic generation, including SEO, video and article marketing and several other methods too. For the record, I NEVER recommend paid traffic like PPC to new affiliate marketers. When you're just getting started in this industry, you're going through a lot of trial and error and if you're using paid advertising, you're literally paying to learn hard lessons.... twice! It's better to get all of this worked out with free traffic and at the Wealthy Affiliate the community also plays a very important role - I am quite sure you're going to love it, so yeah, welcome again!
