I am an Author who has written over 1200 articles on health, wellness, diet, nutrition, and other topics for newspapers, magazines and internet sites. Most appeared in 20th-century print media including the Chicago Tribune and other newspapers and magazines such as Ladies' Home Digest, Working Mother, Women's World, and Readers' Digest. Then I:

• Made the transition to the internet as a content provider writing articles 5-days-a-week for WebMD.

• As editor of UCLA's Diabetes Perspective newsletter and later as assignment editor of Brightsky.com, I created editorial calendars, made assignments, wrote articles and headlines.

• I have authored or co-authored seven non-fiction books, most available on Amazon.com. My co-authored books are in the health, wellness & healthy living genres. Recent example: Low Glycemic Happiness: 120 LG Recipes to Improve Blood Sugar Control. It describes a way of eating proven to reduce the risks of heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. If you already have diabetes, it gives you a tool --the Glycemic Load calculation -- which has been the "missing ingredient" that makes the Glycemic Index really work. Available at Amazon.com

• In addition. I have co-authored or ghostwritten Informational books with and for doctors. I can name two of those ghostwritten informational books because my clients either decided to share cover credit with me or acknowledge my help in their Acknowledgments or on the copyright pages of their books. Those two books include: The Charleston Program: For People Who Want to Lose Weight Permanently and Beyond the Knife: Alternatives to Surgery. The Charleston Program can be found online and Beyond the Knife is available via Amazon.com

• I’ve also written four ghostwritten autobiographies and one Memoir. My clients -- or their adult children -- contracted with me to salvage memories, family stories and insights about what is important in life. To write these memoirs or the longer personal sagas, I gathered interesting information and colorful anecdotes through low key private interviews. With memory-sparking questions, I encouraged my clients to speak of their experiences and life lessons learned. They shared stories and insights they want to pass along to their children, grandchildren and later generations.

• While going through the Wealthy Affiliate Training, I am also finishing courses with the American Writers and Artists Institute learning how to be a persuasive copywriter. I will specialize in email-autoresponder messages, case studies, white papers and persuasive long-form copywriting.

These are very reasonable goals!

It doesn't happen overnight, so remember that your time commitment isn't a promise to us, it is a promise to yourself.

Find a time in your day to put it on your schedule, then schedule the rest of your life around that time just like you would if it were your job because one day, it just may be!

I wish you the very best in reaching your goals and even more!

Hello and welcome to WA Premium!! You will not regret your decision to go Premium!! The information available here is never ending!! And the training is incredible, and you won’t find anything like it, anywhere else!! Take it ALL in!!

Follow the training! I cannot stress this enough. Do not skip around. Do the lessons in the order in which they are. As well as the tasks that follow each of those lessons. I often jumped ahead in training, on my own, to only later really regret it. Take my word for it, it’s not worth it.

Go at your pace. Slow and steady is my new rule. You'll find you can't wait to learn more in the following days. You’ll want to learn more!! It ignites a new passion within you. It did me! Gave me back my purpose for living! There were a few lessons that I had to watch twice. If that's what you have to do, do it!

And soon you will have yourself an awesome website. Amazing direction, and the tools that you need to succeed in whatever it is you want to do!

You CAN do this!!

Be awesome! Be amazing!! And be successful!!!

Welcome to WA, and it has been a while since I joined
but I do not remember having to redo any of my goals
or redoing my picture. But I have noticed with the banner
for Black Friday Special at the top of our page
things do not work as they once did. This could
possibly be the glitch that caused this to happen I am
not positive.

But, no matter you have made the best decision to
stay at WA = websites hosted elsewhere cost so much
more than here at WA.
Once again, welcome aboard, nice to meet you.

Not too happy right after upgrading to premium because I was asked to state how much money I would like to earn BUT I had already done that during my free membership. Nevertheless, I went on and filled it out but there is a weakness in the question. There was no indication as to duration one wants to spend making the amounts. I put $3000 a month for the 1st question. . Then the next question was what would I be overjoyed (paraphrase) to earn? I put $100,000 yearly. My point is that stating an amount without indicating what time period you expect to make it in is a weak goal. I'll probably make this point again when I comment on others postings. I will not be trying to be cruel or sarcastic. It really is important when setting goals to have time limits or deadlines
I also again had to edit and put in my photo. These are things I did when I was on the free plan so it is a waste of time to have to redo.
Then I decided to check my profile figuring I might need to do some editing, but the system dunked me right here. I didn't get to see what I wrote. I guess that's a glitch that needs fixing. That's not impressive to me as a new Premium member. Has anyone else found these quibbles off-putting?. If so, please comment.

And now to end on a positive note: I joined not only to increase income but also because I remember seeing an email where it was mentioned we not only get to create a new website but we can also transfer or rebuild other domains already owned and thus have several being hosted for the same yearly premium cost. That's a great bonus because I am paying hosting fees elsewhere and am looking forward to cutting that cord.

Hey welcome to premium! I wanted to address what you said about the time frame being an important part of the goal setting, and I agree! But I will say that is still a very motivating comment thread, and I think it’s okay that it doesn’t ask that question. One reason being that goals change and the thread is asking what their goals are right now. For me I put 6k monthly, that goal may change in the future to 150k yearly, but Suzy (a name I made up for example) may sign up with the initial goal of 1k per day. When we get here, all of our goals are in our head, and they are all layed out differently. The thread is there to get the goal wheels turning! Throughout the training, I have revisited my goals many times, and I will hopefully continue doing so, but I really needed that thread and the people that cheered me on when I first started!
