New Beginning's
Here I am writing my 1st official post on WA.
Although it took me a lot longer to get moving the way I wanted to, once I did WOW!!!
My website was indexed in about 2 weeks. I was so excited that even my husband had begun pushing me to sit down and WRITE!. Um, wasn't real sure how to take that. LOL. It was definitely a wonderful thing and helped me feel like I really was doing the right thing for me, being within the WA Family.
I still work extremely long hours at my J-O-B (with a minimum of 1 hour commute each way) So my time away from home is extensive. I thought as much as I wanted to do this, when was I am going to find the time. Some weeks I have been able to put in many hours, and some weeks I was lucky to get 3 hours in.
Then the news came that I needed ankle surgery! Most people would be saying how awful and such-and-such. Who wants surgery?? The first thing I thought and told my husband was, "this means I have to sit for 3 to 6 weeks, and the only thing I can do is MY WEBSITE!! Yeah me!!!
Then, surgery being last week:
I logged into my WA profile and realized that my site was RANKED! Talk about motivation!!!
Now I almost feel a sense of ürgency" to be working on it. :-)
I have about 1 1/2 weeks before I have to go back to my J-O-B and I already have a small sense of missing being able to do this as much or as little as I want.
I do know now, that my dreams can be reality, no matter how much or often I work on it. As long as I take steps every singe day, my dreams just may start becoming reality a little sooner than I thought was possible. And that is an incredible feeling!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and as my husband enjoys football and doing all the cooking, I will be enjoying the recliner with my foot up and computer on my lap.
What a wonderful life this is. :-)
Maureen
