My WA journey so far
Hmmm, my progress …
I’ve had a bit of a stuttering start in WA, corresponding with the busyness or otherwise of my life. But I HAVE made some progress, and I’m pretty excited about where I’ve found myself after 19 lessons. I certainly understand MUCH more about affiliate marketing than I did previously (after trying to understand the finer points through a brief flirtation with Clickbank), and much more about Wordpress as well. The training is straightforward and very task oriented, so that you learn while creating, which is terrific.
So, I started off with a couple of niche ideas that I have since abandoned or deferred for various reasons. I’m now the proud owner of www.thenewguitarist.com, which is aimed at all those people who are starting out on the journey of playing the guitar. I’m still not quite sure what products I will market in this niche (obviously they’ll be guitar-related though), but I’m hoping this will become clear in the next phase of the training.
In terms of my successes, I really regard that each time I tick one of those little boxes at the bottom of each lesson, it’s a success. Each tick is a step on the journey to a better lifestyle where I will hopefully be able to supplement my income by writing about one of my true passions. Hopefully it will mean that in the future I don’t need to work as much to support my family and fund my mortgage!
In the next 3 months, I aim to see the first of many earnings hit my bank account. Six months from now, I’d love to be earning enough to truly say that I’m supplementing my income – I don’t know, is $50,000 too much to ask? Aim high, right?
