Should You Join Premium Plus?
Hello! Today I wanted to share my thoughts on the newest level of membership within WA - Premium Plus. (No, I don't call it a bundle. Let's call a spade a spade, okay?) Full disclosure: I only learned about this 18 hours ago, hence the late post. I don't visit WA daily unless I'm running a new website, which I'm not right now.
Okay, let's dive in. Should you "invest" in the new membership? I'd say it mainly depends on what you're here for and where you're at right now.
The Training
If you're here to learn, but you know nothing about building a website, I'd say stick with Premium. Premium has a lot of the same training as Premium Plus anyway. Certainly enough to get you started. If, however, you already know about building websites, writing content, getting traffic, monetization, etc. and you're hungry for more, Premium Plus is a good option with 200+ classes every year instead of the 52 you get with Premium. I have included a screenshot below so you can see exactly what the differences are in training right now.
The Hosting (Websites)
This is my main reason for being here, personally. The training is a nice bonus, but the hosting is phenomenal. The ease of use, the speed, the support, not to mention the security and free SSL, make this well worth the cost of a yearly Premium membership in my opinion.
Please be aware that I am grandfathered into the old membership plan with the Black Friday discount, so what I get with my membership might be different than what you get with yours. I still think their hosting is great, but at the full $495/year I might look into other options.
Anyway, the only hosting differences right now are as follows:
- Premium members can only have 10 websites instead of 50
- Premium members can have 250,000 monthly visits instead of 1,000,000
- Premium members get enhanced hosting security instead of advanced hosting security suite (I'm not sure what the differences are here)
My advice here is not to upgrade simply for hosting. At $995 a year, you'd probably be better off looking for hosting elsewhere, if necessary.
Jaaxy
Jaaxy is the last major factor to consider if you're thinking of upgrading. My advice is, if you want Jaaxy Enterprise and you're already a Premium member, you should upgrade. It'd cost about the same to have both as it would to upgrade anyway. If you’re like me and you don't use Jaaxy for keyword research, or if you're okay with Jaaxy Lite, stick with Premium.
Ultimately it's up to you whether you want to upgrade or not, but I hope this helps you reach a decision either way.
Are you upgrading to Premium Plus? Why or why not?

I'm not upgrading. As a newbie I don't see the need yet. I'm still good with premium.
But for those premium members who are paying at least Jaaxy Pro or higher upgrading is a no brainer.
Thanks for sharing this!
Rose
I'm good with Premium myself. Aside from Jaaxy, the training is really the biggest reason to upgrade and I feel like good ole SEO is still where it's at.
Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts, Rose.
Personally, it's all about cost-benefit analysis. I don't use the training here for the most part, as I've been building niche sites since 2014.
I don't use Jaaxy either, so the cost of Premium Plus isn't worth it for me.
I'm glad you find it useful though and I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with me.

I agree Matthew. There are many cheaper ways available to undertake keyword research. Personally, I have stayed with premium plan because I am also grandfathered into the old plan. I don't see the point of purchasing premium plus for the 1 mil visitors. If my sites were to reach the 250,000 a month level I would most likely upgrade, but not until then. The only real benefit is in the training arena. All the best. Jim
