Hey there all, I have a few points I would like to run by you.
As you may know a couple of blogs ago I mentioned that I have had a request to do a blog post, which I have now finished and they are absolutely thrilled with, and they have now asked me to do a regular, fortnightly article.
They have also sent me over a press kit and asked that I repost their blog posts on social media and I should pass my articles onto them and they will do the same to be "mutually beneficial" They are quite a popular site (relatively speaking) and I feel very happy they want me. Now, I have some concerns:
- they`ll poach some potential customers,
- They offer a far more comprehensive service/information than I am able to.

They don`t really sell items on their site in the way that I do, and they cater more to industry insiders, whereas my site is pitched directly at beginners. I am again worried I am getting in over my head, and that the visitors I get to my site won`t be wanting to stay given their existing knowledge.
I have no doubt that I will get increased traffic, but if its not the right traffic whats the point?
Have I fallen into a trap?
EDIT:
I am really cross. They have finally put my article up, and the Formatting is wrong, the links are wrong and it looks and performs terribly. I have a feeling it is because of their theme, but I have no idea how they messed up the HTML i sent them.
Anyways, I wont post here, but if you would like to see it, I will let you know by PM.
Thanks
