If you ever try a new technique or idea that you thought would be good but feels like it might not be worth it while you're in the middle of implementing it, FOLLOW THROUGH. Don't allow your self doubt to stop you. Yes, it may turn out that it wasn't such a good idea. But it might also turn out better than expected.Recently I found this out for myself. I had created a quotes post with a Twitter-style graphic created for each image. Yes, I know that different size dimensions work well on Pintere

There will be moments when you feel frustrated, overwhelmed, and doubtful while working on your online business. You might not achieve results as quickly as you hoped. During those moments, it's easy to lose your focus and momentum. You want to avoid losing focus and momentum because it'll only slow down your progress.Peter Voogd, entrepreneur and author of 6 Months to 6 Figures, shared an activity on his YouTube channel on how to refocus your attention on what really matters. You should do thi

While working on your online business or another important goal of yours, have you ever felt...Flustered?Lost?Lacking in motivation?Like not working hard?Like you wanna give up?Lethargic?Of course! We have all felt like that before when trying to achieve something, whether it's an A on your exam, learning a new instrument, or trying to achieve financial freedom. Most people give up after one of those feelings hit. They usually don't give up the first time they feel that way but after so many ti

I loved Dr. Eric Thomas' new episode of TGIM (Thank God It's Monday) so much that I had to share the new tip I learned with the Wealthy Affiliate community. The video is only 5 minutes long, so I recommend you watch it too. E.T. has a way of saying things that gets you fired up, which it should considering he's a motivational speaker.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSNx8kuZwp8 The practical tip he shared in this video was called “Draw the Line.” Take out a sheet of paper and draw a

When it comes to artistic fields like music, writing, and marketing, creativity is often praised and placed on a high pedestal, whereas clarity is rarely mentioned. How often have you heard someone go on and on about how clear a piece of art is? Probably never! However, clarity is a key element of effective writing and marketing. Clarity is important in business too. Here's why clarity is more important than creativity in today's world:For one, it doesn't matter how creative your marketing is w

Some people were discouraged when Pinterest banned affiliate links and even stopped using Pinterest. They have recently lifted the ban on affiliate links, so I'm making a blog letting others know that you can post affiliate links on Pinterest again. Pinterest started allowing affiliate links again on May 12, 2016. https://business.pinterest.com/en/blog/affiliate-l... Before you go pin happy, remember to avoid overdoing it and only posting pins about your business. Wealthy Affiliate links have b

It's been about a month since my previous post about starting to see some success with Pinterest and becoming more strategic with my use of the site for business. My Pinterest account has grown more and I look forward to continual growth throughout 2016. It's exciting to think where I could be by the end of 2016 if I consistently take action. My Pinterest stats for the last 30 days are:Avg. daily impressions: 2,546Avg. daily viewers: 1,389Avg. monthly viewers: 32,194Avg. monthly engaged: 819Foll

Recently, I decided to be more serious about my social media and have immediately seen results with Pinterest. A pin of mine has received 80 repins so far, which has definitely motivated me to continue regularly repinning and creating pins on Pinterest. I have yet to get a lot of repins from my own creation but it's a target of mine that I'm aiming for. You never know when a pin (or other social media post) will be successful, so post at least one thing each day and you'll see results.https://w

Today I watched Eric Thomas' The Success Series MSU Change or Die talk on Periscope and wrote down a few new ET quotes that I love. He started off the talk about something I've been working on improving about myself. "Success is doing what you say you're going to do." I dislike when people don't do what they say they're going to do.And as Peter Voogd says, the most important promise/appointment you can keep is that with yourself. Even if you do what you say you're going to do for others, are yo

I'm on day 3 of Tony's 90 day challenge and unfortunately didn't get around to working on my website yesterday. I was preoccupied with other things and decided to sleep at my designated bedtime instead of staying up later to work on my business. The AC has been broken for days now as well and I live in southern California. Not very fun.Today, I decided to post the new quote graphic I created on Pinterest but when I went to my website to grab the link, I was welcomed with this message:I decided
