Self-improvement Tips from Somebody Else
The road to success is long and we all need help, no matter where we are along the way. Beginners need advice, and more experienced people need to share knowledge to keep learning.
When I started my own self-improvement journey many years ago, I really liked reading and learning, but I got to a point where I finally realized that I also needed to start applying new concepts. Otherwise, I would just be living a fantasy, acting out my old lifestyle while contradicting myself mentally. I began making one change at a time, and slowly I've reached the point where I am now. But I haven't stopped, and neither should you.
Questions
Have you read a motivational article today? I just saw at least five on my WA dashboard. Open the door to inspiration and read one. It sure is nice to have people to cheer you up or encourage you to keep going. Each person has a special outlook and something new to say, so we can all be strengthened and comforted by each author's experience.
Do you like to watch videos about how to be successful? TED talks are great for encouragement and inspiration, and they also help with communication skills. What's the last business or self-help book you bought? Have you finished reading it? Let us know in the comments.
Action
We continue to thrive if we learn new things and abandon what doesn't work, but giving up bad habits or ineffective processes isn't as easy - or obvious - as it sounds.
Bad habits can be really comfortable, so be kind to yourself. Habits form through the years, and they probably protect you from something. If you identify the benefit you get from a bad habit, it's easier to change.
Old methods just slow you down. Maybe they used to work fine, but don't do so well anymore and you don't really mind. Maybe they've just become obsolete, and it's time to upgrade. Have the courage to take the plunge.
Keep up the good work! You're right on track.
(By the way, I'm reading Indistractable by Nir Eyal right now.)

I love TED talks too, and read many motivational books in my life. Now my biggest source is WA.
I'm just waiting for delivery of a book about Steve Jobs, ordered it a few days ago. He was awesome.
Thank you for your post, Marsha!

I agree with you about WA. It's the ultimate source of inspiration, encouragement, and technical knowledge about business and websites.
Thanks for reading!
You hit the nail on the head . There’s always enough time in our life’s for self improvement, and the best place to start is replacing or bad habits with that time . Thank you for you uplifting article.
I'm glad you liked it. The book I'm reading helps examine why we cultivate bad habits. I've only just started it, but it's already helping.
Have a great day!
