Adding Subtitles on YouTube
I thought it would be harder.
I asked around about programs and websites that would allow me to subtitle my new YouTube videos, and I got lots of good advice. I even tried one of them, Happy Scribe, which will allow you to do one free project and then you have to pay them. It worked fine. Very efficient.
But YouTube Studio is also very efficient. And free on the platform.
I watched videos about how to use the subtitling function and I settled on using automatic translation as the source text and then editing it myself to correct the errors. It's a bit time-consuming but far quicker and less tedious than having to listen and type at the same time.
Having shared this, I think I'll get on with the task at hand.
Fixing the subtitles to tomorrow's video!

Thanks for the tip Marsha. This is an area I'm looking forward to conquering later this year.

Hi Lily,
YouTube is a big project and it feels like I'm moving at a snail's pace but I guess that's OK.
Thanks for reading!
