Hi there,
The other day, in a previous blog (here) I shared some info explaining what vibe coding is and a little bit on my journey to get there. I'm not sure about you but I have been trying to wrap my head around what it is and how it can apply to my business.
After watching a few of Jay's training on vibe coding, I think I'm starting to get it. So instead of sitting here overthinking things, I'm just going to dive in and get my hands dirty (which I actually hate irl😅), lol.
You can jump in when you're ready or if you've made your own creations, I'd love to hear about it in the comments so that we can all learn and celebrate together.
Getting Started With Vibe Coding
Before we get started, we need to formulate some ideas. Now you may have some ideas of your own and that's great but in the beginning, you can also use AI to create ideas.
I like doing this because typically AI comes up with ideas that you might not have thought of, forgotten about or completed fragments of ideas that you have/had.
Full disclosure, I'm following Jay's training, How to Build Your Own Web App for List Building. As per the training, I constructed the below text to generate an app for my family travel brand Fun Shores Ahead.
The Prompt Reads:

Based on your knowledge of (your website) can you help me come up with some simple ideas for a web app that I can vibe code?
Some Ideas From My Results
Here's a snippet of what it recomments for my site:
Since your audience is families planning beach trips, I'd focus on tools that are:

What Will I Choose?
Honestly I'm split because these are all really great ideas. I want to create a travel based app yet toddler activities are really popular and helpful as well.
What do you think? Which idea should I go with or do you have something of your own to add?
Here's what ChatGPT recommends:
If I were building this tomorrow...
I'd choose one of these three:
1. Packing Checklist Generator
Highest usefulness and easiest to build.
2. Family Beach Matchmaker
Highest engagement and sharing potential.
3. Toddler Activity Generator
Very unique and directly aligned with your expertise.
If you want the sweet spot between easy, useful, and monetizable:
Family Beach Packing Checklist Generator
I'm going to dig into this a bit more but I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!
