I've Completed My First Lovable App

Hey there!

I just wanted to pop in real quick and share my Loveable app that I created for Fun Shores Ahead as many of you asked to see the finished result.

The Process of Building The App

Full disclosure, I used the free version of Loveable. I did that because there is a daily limit to use the app. That meant I could basically keep making small changes and additions every day as needed.

This might seem easy but it took a lot of patience to do especially when it decided to quit mid process. So at times I had a process hanging until the next day where it could be completed.

BUT it was still totally worth it in my opinion and the outcome is pretty impressive.

The app itself includes:

• The quiz
• Email submission form
• Admin login page
• Fully functioning admin back-office to look at and download stats, view and edit email submissions, etc (I'm so proud of this because it gave me the most trouble to setup!)
• Results page after email submission

And all of this passes the publishing security check!

Introducing the Packing List Generator!

My first app is for Fun Shores Ahead (family beach travel brand) and I created a packing checklist generator. So basically the user answers questions about their family make-up, their style of packing, etc. and then the app creates a custom packing list that they can save, download, print, and copy to a document.

Of course the list is emailed to the submitted address and there are some clickable article recommendations to my site at the bottom as well.

Final Note About Coding

Now you might be thinking something like, 'wow, that took so much coding'. It did get confusing at some points but I was able to figure things out with ChatGPT.

Lovable also has the function to have it figure out what it needs to do. Ultimately, that's how I fixed some of my security issues I was having but the heavy lifting was mostly with ChatGPT.

And I purposely did that because I needed it to give me as much instruction in one command as possible to get the most out of my credit and also because it kept up with the process and understood my vision and brand.
