I Ignored It For A Little While & THIS Is What Happened.! ?

Hey there,

Have you ever got frustrated with your business and just want to punch a pillow (or throw something 😵[though I recommend the pillow😅])? When you work so hard and the results just don't show up?

Yeah...I'm sure we've all been there but if not, I can tell you that I've been there a lot.

One of the times was probably about last November/December (2025) when I first started trying out Pinterest. You probably see me sharing about Fun Shores Ahead (like here), but I did some trial and error with another one of my cat sites first.

I followed the steps and got some results but then everything just fell flat. I also got discouraged about not having a lot of AI credits to make a bunch of pins with (join the challenges and win some credits! 😁). Truthfully speaking, the ImageStudio pins did do the best but it took several iterations to get right which sucked my credits faster than a child drinking a milkshake, lol 🤣

Long story short, eventually the results just kind of fell flat and I got so frustrated because I was putting a lot of time into it with little to no results.

Fastforward Several Months And THIS Happened

So I was checking my daughter's Pinterest for her website and it hit me that I've been so busy these last few months that I haven't even checked with that site's Pinterest. Actually, I haven't created anything for this site for a couple months now because I'm focused on other things.

When I checked it, I was so surprised with what I found.

The irony is that I was just telling my daughter that this is the time cat content starts to pick up in views and popularity. If you are in the pet/cat niche, there's a helpful tip, heehee 😁🤗

You can see here, it is getting 28.2k monthly views. Now that might not be a lot to you, but to me, that is a lot. And I can't say that I've even come close to understanding how Pinterest works.

A Peak At The Stats

What is surprising me about these stats is that these posts didn't do well at all at first. I chose the topic Health Care but none of the health care stuff did well for a good while.

Now all of the top posts for this brand are health care.

The top posts being the health care pins that initially did not do so well when I first published them.

Is It Bring In Site Traffic?

Sad to say that it isn't bring in much traffic to the site itself but its clearly picking up some sort of traction on Pinterest.

I'm not sure if I'll be working on this site or not but I wanted to share with you just in case you were feeling a bit worn of the work with little results. And getting tired of people keep saying how the time will come and it hasn't come for you yet.

My daughter watches a Sesame Street song about the power of Yet and its pretty fun an motivational. I don't like the singer's work but the song has some truth to it.

Things get frustrating and people's advice sometimes makes the process even more frustrating but focus on your goals and keep going. Something is going to workout for you at some time. We just never know when that is.

So keep doing what you're doing, I'm routing for you especially if your deep in the trenches of trying to figure out how to get things rolling in the first place.
