Hey there,

If you're a PowerDirector user like me, you're going to want to check out the newest features rolled out in the December 2025 update. I know I’m a little late sharing this, but trust me, it’s worth a peek👀

Here’s what’s new:

AI Video Generator: Character Motion Swap

This one’s wild! You can now animate a single image using a reference video clip. That means you can take a still image and have it mimic gestures, expressions, and even lip-sync for a more realistic performance.

Think dance moves, action poses, or storytelling gestures, all applied to your own characters. The result? Consistent on-screen characters throughout your video, without needing to film every scene yourself.

Instead you can just click “Generate” and let the AI do the magic for you.

I’m already thinking of ways to use this for affiliate promos, short-form social content, and maybe even some pet or family-style explainer clips. But I’d love to hear your ideas too in the comments!

Enhanced Subtitle Editing

Now it's even easier to edit and format subtitles so your message is crystal clear and accessible.

Enhanced Text to Video

More natural results, better timing, and smoother AI integration. Perfect for quick drafts or helping you visualize before a full shoot.

AI Replace

This one has me intrigueds as well because it allows you to swap objects or faces with the help of AI. This will be especially useful for content creators who want to experiment with alternate versions of content without starting from scratch every interation.

Auto Editing: Photo Collage Templates

These templates make photo montage creation faster, cleaner, and more fun, especially for recaps, family videos, or holiday highlights.
